Big Freedia just dropped three new singles, Let Me See Ya (ft. MUNA and SOPHIA), Go Down, and Blaze That ASS.
The New Orleans-based singer and rapper, best known for her dance-pop-inspired discography, has collaborated with pop icons such as Beyoncé, KESHA, and Lizzo.
The songs are fun and dancey and come at the perfect time for Pride. Her bounce music style has a rhythm that refuses to let you stand still, with a technical repetitive production that almost feels like dancing in a strobe light underwater.
All three songs are confident and energetic, like much of Big Freedia’s discography. Freedia will be performing at the Blue Note Jazz Festival as part of New York City Pride.
