Rauw Alejandro and Buchanan’s Ignite NYC with ‘Dando Vueltas’

Last night in New York City, global superstar Rauw Alejandro joined forces with Buchanan’s Whisky to debut his latest single and music video, “Dando Vueltas,” in a high-energy celebration that doubled as the official 50-day countdown to the FIFA World Cup 2026.

Set in the heart of Dyckman, the evening was more than a premiere; it was a cultural moment. From fútbol enthusiasts to New York’s tastemakers, Buchanan’s and Rauw brought together Latinos from across the city, creating a space where music, heritage, and community seamlessly collided.

More than 200 fans showed up in full force, dressed in fútbol jerseys and cleats, proudly representing countries including Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Argentina, and beyond. The energy was immediate, rooted in both pride and anticipation.

Midway through the night, Rauw Alejandro made a surprise entrance, moving through the crowd and connecting with fans before settling into his section, where Buchanan’s bottle service and signature Buchanitas set the tone for celebration.

The room quickly filled with notable faces spanning music, nightlife, and digital culture. Brooklyn icon Toñita of Toñita’s was in attendance, alongside actress Dascha Polanco, producer Nino Segarra, celebrity DJ DJ Flipstar, and a wave of NYC creators, including Flavio and Flavio, Viviane de Castro, and Maria Beltre. Each added to the layered, cross-cultural energy that defined the night.

Music played a central role throughout, with DJ Hector and Nino Segarra curating a seamless rotation of old-school reggaeton, Latin beats, and Rauw’s biggest hits, setting the stage long before the main moment arrived.

When it did, it was unmistakable.

Rauw took the stage to lead the crowd into the global release of “Dando Vueltas,” dancing through fan-favorite tracks including “Qué Pasaría…” before pausing for a celebratory toast. As the visuals premiered, the room shifted—fans fully immersed in the moment, witnessing the intersection of music, movement, and global anticipation.

Beyond the stage, the experience extended into interactive activations. Guests explored the 27-foot Buchamión truck, secured exclusive merchandise, captured content across curated photo moments, and even stepped onto a mini fútbol pitch, bringing the World Cup spirit directly into the city.

The night didn’t end there. Following the premiere, select guests were transported to an exclusive afterparty where Buchanan’s continued to flow and DJ Fux carried the energy well into the early hours.

With “Dando Vueltas,” Rauw Alejandro and Buchanan’s didn’t just launch a song; they set the tone for what’s to come. As the countdown to the FIFA World Cup 2026™ continues, the message is clear: the rhythm, culture, and global influence of the Latino community will be at the center of it all.
