LALO Tequila Hosts the First Serve to Kickoff the U.S. Open in NYC

This week, the annual fanfare surrounding the U.S. Open Tennis Championships held in Forest Hills, Queens was kicked off by LALO Tequila to celebrate the final Grand Slam event of the professional tennis season. 

LALO Tequila’s “First Serve” was held at Nine Orchard located in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. The luxury hotel and idyllic views of the New York City skyline served as a glamorous backdrop for an exclusive cocktail reception and dinner celebrating professional tennis’ annual return to the city. 

IMG Tennis and Air Mail partnered with LALO to host the event which brought together athletes and celebrities in a celebration of professional tennis. 

Co-founder, Lalo González hosted the event alongside tennis players Amanda Anisimova and Zizou Bergs who serve as LALO ambassadors and editor of Air Mail, Jennifer Noyes. 

Just a few names on the invite list included actor Cole Sprouse, tennis players Franklin Tiafoe and Hailey Baptiste, and snowboarder Jake Pates. 

Several notable content creators such as Kate Bartlett, Madison Appel, and Mary Holland Nader were also seen gracing the rooftop at Nine Orchard.
