Astral Tequila MargaritaCon
Tequila connoisseurs, it’s time to grab the limes, salt, and tajin because Astral Tequila is launching its first-ever MargaritaCon —a month-long nationwide celebration dedicated to the beloved cocktail, the Margarita! From April 5th to Cinco de Mayo, participating bars across the country will feature a special Astral Tequila margarita on their menus, with each drink contributing towards building homes for those in need.
Astral Tequila has partnered up with Hábitat para la Humanidad México for this project, supporting their sustainable Adobe Brick Project in Jalisco, Mexico. By repurposing spent agave from tequila distillation into bricks for home construction, every Astral margarita sold makes a positive impact. This year, Astral Tequila is also extending its support to the United States by donating $50,000 to Habitat for Humanity affiliates nationwide, extending the effect of each Astral margarita enjoyed during MargaritaCon.
To conclude MargaritaCon and welcome Cinco de Mayo, Astral Tequila is bringing lime and tequila-infused festivities to the streets of New York City, Chicago, and Charleston on May 4th. Additionally, in celebration of Cinco de Mayo, U.S. residents have the chance to win an all-expenses-paid luxury getaway for four to Mexico by visiting participating bars or the website (participants must be 21+).
