Stagecoach Festival Brings High Energy And Nostalgia
The Stagecoach Music Festival returned to the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California this past weekend. Following an action-packed Coachella Festival that spanned over two weekends, the Stagecoach Festival resumed proceedings, bringing fresh energy to the valley.
Presented as a country/pop music “extension” to Coachella, the Stagecoach Festival enlisted some of the biggest names in the industry. With headliners ranging from Zach Bryan to Shaboozey to Backstreet Boys, the festival had it all – nostalgia, surprises and stages with quirky names.
Stagecoach Festival Welcomes Country/Pop Confluence
Nikki Lane kicked off the Stagecoach Festival with her performances at the Palomino Tent. The “Highway Queen” singer delivered powerful vocals coupled with evocative lyrics and eclectic musical accompaniments. She joined Drake Milligan for their song “Wreck It All”. Lane teamed up with Sierra Ferrell for a live recording of “A Lesson In Leavin.” Zach Bryan made his presence felt at the ‘Mane Stage,’ wearing the same t-shirt as his debut three years ago. Thanks to a lengthy set, some noted Zach Bryan sounded “tired” especially during his performance of “Pink Skies.”
However, the highlight of the evening was Lana Del Rey’s debut on the Stagecoach Festival platform. The 11-time Grammy-nominated singer who is in the process of redefining her image, wooed the crowd with her unique voice. Most notably, the audience went wild when Lana Del Rey debuted her latest song “57.5,” an allusion to her monthly listeners on Spotify. She further stunned the crowd with lyrics in “57.5” that revealed her dalliance with Morgan Wallen.
Surprise Cameos At Stagecoach Festival
Day 2 saw Shaboozey’s impressive arrival on the ‘Mane’ stage at the Stagecoach Festival. Billboard noted that ‘A Bar Song’ singer even cited the increase in crowd size, a testament to his growing popularity. “A whole lot more than a thousand people here,” Shaboozey told the sold-out crowd. Following a collaborative performance with Post Malone during the latter’s Coachella 2025 finale, rapper Jelly Roll gave the audience an evening to remember. During his set, he welcomed stars such as Machine Gun Kelly, Wiz Khalifa, BigXthaPlug, and even Lana Del Rey.
End of 2025 Music Festivities In The Coachella Valley
The Stagecoach Festival wrapped up its 2025 edition with Day 3 performances by ‘Fast Car’ star Luke Combs, American Idol winner Chayce Beckham, and Kevin Bacon. Diplo’s “HonkyTonk” returned with performances from Steve Aoki who ‘brought out’ singers like Dasha and Goo Goo Dolls. Aoki introduced the 90’s boyband “Backstreet Boys” who reignited nostalgia with their performances of “Everybody,” “As Long As You Love Me.”
Celebrities ranging from Megan Thee Stallion, Paris Hilton, Sydney Sweeney, and the cast of Bachelor Nation were spotted during performances and after-parties. The Stagecoach Festival marked the end of festivities at the Coachella Valley for 2025.
