Normani ‘Wild Side’ Single Left Everyone With Chills
We all love a major comeback, and miss Normani former member of the well-known girl band Fifth Harmony gave us just that in style! Normani released her new music video on July 15, 2021. Which left many in shock, and impressed with the concept of the music video.
This new music video has different vibes to it in every scene. At the beginning of the video, Normani is in a black bodysuit, posing seductively in a red room. As she pours wine over the camera, the screen pans to the singer in a purple jumper, sliding body-roll moves with several backup dancers.
Normani’s latest music video for “Wild Side” featuring Cardi B honors another huge music legend, Aaliyah. Throughout the video, various shots and choreography seem to be nods to the late R&B singer’s iconic music videos.
Normani’s mirror moment in the video, where she essentially dances with herself, looks like it was taken straight out of Aaliyah’s “Try Again” video, and some of the dance moves look very similar to the choreography in Aaliyah’s “More Than a Woman” video. As she implores her lover to show her his “wild side,” Normani channels Aailyah’s iconic style in white kicks and leather with baggy pants and a jacket.
She brings more 2000s vibes with leopard print, as she lies in a helicopter. In another scene, surrounded by a mirror-filled room, Normani wears nothing but glittering shells as she contorts into various shapes on the floor with her doppelgänger. And then Cardi B comes in.
