F1 Movie Soundtrack Announced
The new Apple Original Films and Warner Bros Pictures Film “F1” starring Brad Pitt and Damson Idris has people eagerly awaiting it’s release.
The film tells the story of Sonny Hayes, the most promising driver in Formula 1 until an accident on the track forced him to retire. Thirty years later, the owner of an F1 team reaches out to Sonny to bring him back to racing. When he begins to work with the team’s talented rookie, he learns that the road to redemption is not something you can travel alone.
Joseph Kosinski will direct the film adding it to his list of successful works like Top Gun: Maverick, Twisters, and more. Filming for the movie utilized real footage from Formula 1 Grand Prix weekends with real-life drivers and teams. The actors also went through intensive training to be able to drive Formula 2 cars designed to look like Formula 1 vehicles.
Formula 1, the highest class of international racing for open-wheel single-seater formula racing cars, has a global fanbase of approximately 826.5 million. Fans of the racing series are gearing up to watch the movie when it releases on June 27, 2025.
The soundtrack for this film, F1: The Album, will bring together some of the industry’s top musicians including Ed Sheeran, Tate McRae, Chris Stapleton, Sexxy Red, Madison Beer, and many more. The Atlantic Records 17-track album will be released alongside the film.
The first single to be released from the album is a collaboration between Grammy-winning rappers Doja Cat and Don Toliver. Their song “Lose My Mind” was released with a movie-inspired music video on April 30th.
