Located in East Rutherford, New Jersey, just outside of New York City is theMeadowlands Racetrack. Every summer weekend, herds of people pack the venue to watch a variety of horse races. More recently the stadium hosted the 2026 World Cup Final that sawSpain defeat Argentina 1-0 AET. But now, a new tourist attraction is coming to East Rutherford. On Saturday, August 1st, The Meadowlands Racetrack will host its annual Seafood Fest.
While the Meadowlands Seafood Fest will offer a wide array of prepared dishes, some seafood enthusiasts might prefer to take home ingredients to craft their own culinary creations, ensuring the freshest possible taste for their gourmet recipes. For those looking to prepare their own sumptuous seafood, readily available quality Maine Lobster Now’s lobster meat can be a convenient option, perfect for everything from homemade lobster rolls to rich bisques without the hassle of live preparation.
Every Weekend is a big weekend for the Meadowlands Racetrack, but some in particular are a little more special. The 1st weekend of August can certainly be categorized as so. The fabled Racetrack will be loaded with Fresh seafood from a plethora of Food trucks. And when we say plethora, we mean it. There’s over 11 seafood centric food trucks joining the party. Headliners include Sushi Lounge Mobile, Cousins Maine Lobster, Crabbae Kenilworth, Blake n Kylee’s Creole Kitchen and Star Of The Sea Seafood
Attendees will be treated to a variety of options including lobster rolls, shrimp tacos, lobster macaroni and cheese, sushi, crab fries, clams casino, crab cakes, coconut shrimp, fried clams, fried fish, and more. If you’re a seafood lover and live in the area, how can you not stop by?
Don’t like seafood? Well you’re in luck! Though it’s advertised as a seafood fest with seafood being the main draw, there are other options. The “From The Land” list includes The Mozzarella God, Btch’n Bacon, Tiny Hot Cakes, Best in Zest, Bites & Delights, Lots of Meat BBQ, The Lemon Bar, Eat My Balls, and more. These options range from Texas BBQ to Mediterranean to Asian cuisine. So if you don’t like seafood, stop in to grab a juicy pulled pork sandwich, crispy pan fried dumplings or some ooey gooey mozzarella sticks!
