NYFW: Art Hearts Fashion Runway AW18
On day 2 of NYFW, I attended the Art Hearts Fashion Runway with Tisharth, House of Byfield, and Light & Shadow Global. Starting the show off with Tisharth by Shivani, a Pret Clothing label by Shivani Jain from India. Launched her label Tisharth by Shivani in 2015 and her designs redefine modern functional wardrobe with easy and experimental silhouettes crafted from finest materials. Shivani started her runway shows in India runway week in April 2017, showing her Golden Summer dreams collection, her Resort collection in South Africa and her A/W 2017 collection for India and London Fashion Week. She had done various shows around the world in which she achieved recognition for her brand.

House of Byfield
The second designer to showcase a Fall/Winter 18′ collection was House of Byfield by Carmicheal Byfield from Jamaica. Migrated to the Netherlands and enrolled in a fashion school and began as a freelancing self-motivated designer. His design style was described as “colorful and elegant with a clever detailing and a sporty touch“. Flowy fabrics are layered in asymmetrical forms and often drapes on the body. Carmichael uses high-quality materials from the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany on his collections.
Light & Shadow Global
Lastly, LIGHT & SHADOW GLOBAL showcased their collection. It is a Chinese fashion design academy located in China founded in May 2015. Providing beginners with fashion design knowledge hands-on experience and advocated innovation and self-expression. Many of L&S designs visions are inspired by the U.S, Europe, Japan and other. They seek to help more people to feel comfortable in expressing themselves through design and prosper their lives after being exposed to fashion. L&S devotes to fostering great designers and forging more Chinese domestic fashion brands.
