W CONCEPT Brings Korean Fashion and Culture to SoHo
The Korean fashion and lifestyle platform arrives in New York with W Together, a two-week experience featuring more than 80 brands across fashion, beauty, music, wellness, and culture.
New York Fashion Week is getting a taste of Seoul. W CONCEPT, Korea’s leading fashion and lifestyle platform and part of the Shinsegae Group, has officially arrived in New York with W Together, an immersive two-week pop-up in the heart of SoHo.
Running from September 10 through September 23 at 430 West Broadway, the experience brings together more than 80 Korean fashion, beauty, music, wellness, and lifestyle brands under one roof. More than a traditional shopping destination, W Together offers New Yorkers a closer look at the creativity and cultural influence that continue to make Seoul one of the world’s most exciting style capitals.
The New York debut kicked off with an opening celebration on September 9, introducing guests to a selection of brands that have developed alongside W CONCEPT. The lineup includes the platform’s private-label brand FRONTROW, alongside W Only, W ICON, W CORE, and finalists from its W Next program.
Their inclusion speaks to a larger purpose behind the pop-up: giving emerging and established Korean labels another platform for international discovery as interest in Korean fashion and culture continues to expand globally.
A Slice of Seoul in New York
W Together moves beyond racks of clothing by dividing the space into seven themed zones: Fashion, Beauty, Music, Play, Wellness, Ritual, and Heritage. Together, the categories present a broader portrait of contemporary Korean culture and the lifestyle surrounding it.
Technology also plays a role in the experience. Visitors can create personalized AI-styled lookbooks featuring pieces from participating W CONCEPT brands, with opportunities to share their looks on social media and win prizes.
A dedicated Photoism booth adds another interactive element, while a gacha-style prize experience gives visitors opportunities to receive brand products, W CONCEPT points, and experience vouchers.
Customization is also part of the programming. Guests who verify an in-store purchase can visit a Keycap DIY station to design a personalized keycap. Daily early-bird gifts are available to the first customers entering the pop-up while supplies last.
W CONCEPT is extending the experience outside traditional fashion programming through a tennis clinic developed in partnership with SMAXH, a tennis matching and community platform. The collaboration connects fashion with wellness and recreation, reflecting the broader lifestyle approach at the center of W Together.
Korean Style Takes Center Stage
The timing of W CONCEPT’s arrival in New York places Korean design directly within one of the busiest moments on the city’s fashion calendar. Yet W Together is designed to offer more than a temporary retail moment.
By bringing dozens of Korean brands together across fashion, beauty and lifestyle, the platform creates an opportunity for New York audiences to discover not only what people are wearing in Seoul, but also the music, rituals, technology and experiences influencing the city’s creative identity.
For W CONCEPT and the designers represented throughout the space, the SoHo pop-up also represents another step toward reaching a wider global audience.
