“I’ve been having conversations with Target for quite a few years about working with them. VVB is the younger sister to my Ready to Wear collection. I started it in 2011 when I was pregnant with Harper. The inspiration behind this collection was fairy tale. I’m reading my life with Harper and what we do as mother and daughter not just with regards to the clothes, but I created some little coloring books and sticker books, and, you know, it’s things that myself and Harper do in England together. This is celebrating my relationship with my daughter, and I think it’s great that other women can do exactly the same.”

Victoria Beckham on the concept behind the collection, “The inspiration behind this campaign was a world of possibilities–make-believe, imagination, and the unexpected. I see this collection being worn by everyone everywhere. It’s fun, it’s functional, and it’s really cool as well.”

What makes Beckham’s collection even more unique is that it focuses on Plus sizes, which aren’t always offered from luxury designers due to the smaller sizing techniques made for the runway.

Some of the designs featured in her newest line pays tribute to some iconic looks captured in past collections through her diffusion line, Victoria Victoria Beckham. Since its launch in 2011, Victoria Beckham’s collections have featured patterns and prints that are chic and edgy. Each piece varies from lengthy dresses, trending denim, floral prints, bright colors synonymous for every season in spring and fall, embellished bomber jackets, and blouses that can transition for day and night looks. The prices, material, and techniques for curating pieces vary between the luxury runway brand and consumer-centric affordable Target collection. Their finished look appears nearly identical.
