The activewear brand, Carbon38 is celebrating the launch of its first-ever tennis-inspired collection. This was all made possible with the collaboration of tennis star, Venus Williams and her own brand, EleVen. This launch marks not only their first tennis collection but also their first exclusive collaboration with an athlete.
Both of these brands are known to be geared towards women. They both provide a lot of different activewear to choose from. Such as tops, leggings, sports bras, and other sportswear. In this collection, we see many key items that are all suitable for female tennis players or other active women.
The collection’s tennis skirts come in a variety of colors to choose from – shibori printed, pink, and white. Besides tennis skirts, there is a tennis dress, shorts, halter tops, and even accessories to the top off look, such as bucket hats and socks. This collection helps women with their active performance but makes them look fashionable at the same time.
Venus Williams, founder, and CEO of EleVen explained in a statement about her collaboration with the activewear brand. “Carbon38 and EleVen share the same passion for empowering women, so our goal was to co-design a collection reflective of that. And I’m so proud of what we have created,” she shared.
In an interview with Women’s Wear Daily, Williams talked about some of the materials used to create the collection’s pieces. All of the pieces are made out of a cloud compression fabric. “That is “ultra-soft, moisture-wicking, and sustainable. It’s made from recycled water bottles. This material is perfect for low- to high-impact workouts, not to mention the ultimate squat-proof legging,” Williams explained.
The entire collection is made up of 12 different styles. Customers can purchase the collection in between the prices of $78 to $118, As of Wednesday, August 11, the Carbon38 x EleVen collection is available to purchase from the official Carbon38 website or Venus Williams’ EleVen website.
