Tanner Fletcher S/S 2025 Collection
This NYFW, Tanner Fletcher released the Spring/Summer 2025 is titled “The Artists Dilemma.” The collection is a representation of the struggle to decide which creative pathways to choose. It also represents the growing pains that come with starting a new business. “We always want to do everything, make sure every category is full and perfected, but the truth is, it takes time to develop. Right now we’re in our era of many good problems to have.”
he show centers around an art gallery experience. Guests walk through the art gallery as if they’re viewing an art exhibit. There are nearly thirty “scenes” that show abstract dilemmas of sorts. Even the event’s music was a model flipping records at the turntable. Many of the models are original supporters of Tanner Fletcher and the others were street cast. They received nearly one thousand submissions for models. They have models from all over the world – Jiwoo flew in from Seoul, Diana flew in from Paris, Christy flew in from Dallas – and models varied in age with three of them over sixty. Models included Dylan Mulvaney, Romilly Newman, Vienna Skye, Peter Demas, Evelyn Wu, Beta Amelinaite, and more.
The featured vignette was created by Jeanette Getrost, who handpainted a blank canvas dress, modeled by Dylan Mulvaney.
Spring/Summer 2025 has two featured pieces, The Artist’s Dilemma Ball Gown and The Artist’s Dilemma Shirt. These pieces show the dilemma of having too many choices. Viewers noticed unfinished ruffles hanging off the pieces, variations in bows, exposed tulle, varied buttons and even different shoulder silhouettes. Other techniques in the collection feature a new drop waist dress silhouette called the Connie Dress, a PVC trench coat made from tablecloths, oversized ball gowns and petticoats. Featured prints are a black and white toile, a nostalgic cabbage rose print as well as Tanner Fletcher’s classic printed sequin.
