Swarovski x SKIMS Collab
The collaboration of the century, Swarovski x Skims have taken over the internet. As stated on the website, this is “a one-of-a-kind collaboration that unites Swarovski’s iconic crystals with the fit and comfort of SKIMS in a shimmering array of ready-to-wear styles and accessories.” Attending the Swarovski flagship store opening on Fifth Avenue, Kim Kardashian sparkled in a crystal halter-neck top with a matching skirt. Paired with silver and perspex heels, Kardashian fit the vibe of the collaboration completely. Topped off with a messy bun, to give that ’90s flair, she killed the outfit game.
Iconic Entrances
The collaboration itself features a variety of two-piece sets, bodysuits, underwear, body chains and mesh stretch dresses. Each and every piece incorporates Swarovski jewelry, adding a luxe flair to the shape wear brand. Announced on Tuesday, Kardashian arrived at the store location in a glittery studded Swarovski taxi with a “KIM K” plate. Iconic to say the least.
Glamour and Elegance
On Instagram, Kardashian gushes: “Proud to finally reveal an idea I had, that turned to a vision, that turned to…today! Since I became creative director of Swarovski, I wanted to collaborate with SKIMS, rooted in imagination of the crystal that morphed into the skin.” Each piece oozes glamor, with crystallized bandeau tops that could easily pair with any going-out jeans for an elevated night out on the town. I personally am a huge fan of the bodysuits—although mostly sold out already, they seem incredibly wearable in everyday life. The pieces almost resemble her iconic MET Gala 2022 look where she wore Marilyn Monroe’s “Happy Birthday Mister President” dress. Maybe that’s where she got the idea!
