Silhouette Celebrates Newest Collection: “Clear Sky”

To conclude the month of April, luxury eyewear brand Silhouette had quite the celebration for their newest release. On Tuesday, April 25th, the brand hosted a beautiful evening at the penthouse floor of the Greenwich by Rafael Viñoly. The event was a night filled with cocktails, music, and celebrity guests such as advocate, model and brand ambassador Arizona Muse, actress Selma Blair and DJ duo The Muses. While those aspects alone would have made for a fabulous night, what made the event truly special was the exclusive look at Silhouette’s newest innovations in eye wear with the debut of their newest collection, Clear Sky. 

Since it’s foundation in 1964, Silhouette has become one of the biggest names in luxury eyewear. The Austrian award-winning brand is known for their dedication and craftsmanship working with both the newest technology and the precision of making products by hand. This newest collection, titled Clear Sky, is a direct reflection of what makes Silhouette such a powerful brand in innovation and design. The new collection is making history as the first ever eyewear collection to be developed with the bio-circular material: SPX® Green+. Using 100% renewable energy to be created and reducing carbon emissions by 60%, the material is not only able to make fabulous products but is also incredibly environmentally conscious. These new frames are crafted with the organic byproducts of several industries such as forestry and agriculture. This dedication to not only creating elegant frames but doing so in a sustainable way is what makes Silhouette such a powerful brand.  

The event itself was able to show off these incredible new frames in full. Guests were able to view several of the featured pieces from the newest line. The exhibition was interactive, allowing attendees to get up close and personal with the products and get a real feel for the newest line’s creations. The brand went on to unveil three exclusive, limited edition frames whose proceeds, in collaboration with host Arizona Muse, will go to the nonprofit: Dirt. The night was a success as guests mingled and enjoyed live music and gourmet hors d’oeuvres and were able to see some of the fabulous new looks that continue to make Silhouette one of the biggest brands in luxury eyewear.
