Sandy Liang Spring/Summer 2025 Collection

Sandy Liang Spring/Summer 2025 Collection

It’s Sandy Liang Spring Summer 2025 and things aren’t as they seem. The skirts are short, the shorts are shorter. Sometimes, the skirts are shorts. A pale blue work jumpsuit is a dress. A metal tube of lipstick is a laser.

Being a princess is a job, just like being a spy girl is a job. This season there’s something to wear to work, something to catch the subway in, to wear to a piano recital, to wear to the movies, something to live in, to create your own world in. Sandy Liang Spring Summer 2025 is a secret agent, even if it’s just for her own secrets, and she’s always ready to go.

On the train she looks at her shoes, an iridescent pink. She’s straightforward when she wants to be, like in a gray jacket nipped in at the waist. Often she’s ornate for the sake of it, wearing a dress made entirely out of transparent flowers, or carrying a ruffled Cabbage bag with gingham petals. Hidden inside a hyper-mini skirt is a small zippered pocket, so she can leave with just a single card. In the silvery leather bag dangling from the handlebars of her bike, accessories are gadgets – both beautiful and utilitarian. Twin star charms clink as she moves. Metal can be soft. Practicality can be fantastic and fantasy can be practical.

In the collection there are jeans (rhinestones trail up the side) alongside slim suiting. There are serious jackets worn with perfect capris. A teeny trench coat is buttoned up. A spy shoe is held together by a shiny ring. Work dresses are pre-styled. The new court shoe has a coy heel. A pageant sash cuts across a dress. A coin purse necklace is big enough for two Advil, or a ring you’re sick of wearing. Simple things, a soft jersey top and tap shorts, paired together become complete. There are bright colors like candy apple red, green, cobalt and silver. There is satin and nylon. Each piece is password protected; only you can unlock.
