Saint Laurent’s Fall 2026 Campaign Revives Milli Vanilli
Fashion and music collide once again as Saint Laurent taps one of the late ’80s most recognizable hits for its Fall 2026 campaign. Milli Vanilli’s “Girl I’m Gonna Miss You” provides the soundtrack to the fashion house’s latest campaign film, starring Connor Storrie, ROSÉ, and Liu Wen.
Under the creative direction of Anthony Vaccarello and photographed by Talia Chetrit, the retro-inspired campaign features the trio dancing to the 1988 track while bringing Saint Laurent’s distinctive attitude to the Fall 2026 season.
Originally released during Milli Vanilli’s meteoric rise, “Girl I’m Gonna Miss You” reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. More than three decades later, its appearance in a major Saint Laurent campaign gives the song another cultural moment while introducing it to a new generation of fashion and music fans.
For Fab Morvan, the campaign carries an especially personal significance.
“It warms my creative heart to know that my music is being used in a major campaign for one of my favourite and most elegant fashion houses for men, Saint Laurent,” Morvan said.
Growing up in France, Morvan recalls discovering the connection between Saint Laurent, music, and popular culture through Grace Jones, making the collaboration something of a full-circle moment.
He added that seeing the song find new life decades after its original release demonstrates how music can continue to “travel through time” and connect with new audiences.
A New Chapter for Fab Morvan
The Saint Laurent campaign arrives during a period of renewed interest in both Morvan and the complicated history of Milli Vanilli.
Classic tracks including “Girl You Know It’s True,” “Blame It on the Rain,” and now “Girl I’m Gonna Miss You” continue to reach listeners through streaming and new cultural placements, while documentaries and films have introduced the Milli Vanilli story to audiences who may not have experienced the duo’s rise firsthand.
Morvan has continued performing across the United States and internationally while developing new music with longtime collaborator Stacey Grind. His current chapter places an emphasis on live performance, musicianship, resilience, and reclaiming his own creative story.
That story will expand further this fall.
On October 2, 2026, Morvan is set to release “Blame It on the Game,” an expanded edition of his memoir featuring new chapters, previously unpublished material, and additional reflections on his life and career.
The release follows his Grammy-nominated audiobook and will be followed by the ABC/Hulu documentary “Surviving a Scandal,” scheduled to premiere in January 2027. The documentary will offer another look at Morvan’s life, creative process, and experiences on the road.
Interest in Milli Vanilli’s history has already extended to the screen. Luke Korem’s documentary Milli Vanilli received the Grierson Award for Best Music Documentary following its Tribeca Festival premiere, while Simon Verhoeven’s feature film Girl You Know It’s True received the Bayerischer Filmpreis for Best Production.
