Patbo S/S 2025 Runway Show
PatBO presented its Spring/Summer 2025 collection, titled “Ethereal,” during NYFW. This season, the brand celebrates transcendental beauty and transformation, drawing central inspiration from the butterfly, a symbol of evolution and renewal. The “Ethereal” collection is a visual odyssey that explores the concepts of lightness and delicacy, intrinsic characteristics of the butterfly. Delving into the emotional significance of metamorphosis, PatBO captures the essence of change and evolution, reflecting these themes through ethereal silhouettes and fabrics. The word “ethereal” evokes a sense of celestial and supernatural qualities, essential for interpreting the collection. Like a butterfly emerging from its cocoon, each piece in the collection embodies transformation, combining soft textures such as chiffon, taffeta, and embroidered tricoline, capturing the delicacy and lightness of movement. The color palette reflects the serenity of the collection, with shades of blush pink, brown, wine, and off-white, complemented by metallic silver and gold details that add a celestial sparkle to the pieces. Sequins, reminiscent of the butterfly’s shimmering wings, add a touch of glamor and magic to each look. With designs that transition seamlessly from resort to party, gradient fringes and lycra add movement and modernity, providing a contemporary interpretation of ethereal elegance.
For Spring/Summer 2025, PatBO unveiled three exclusive collaborations that embody the essence of the “Ethereal” collection. PatBO partnered with Paintbox on custom nail designs that echo themes of transformation, available now at Paintbox studios, with exclusive press-ons launching in Spring 2025. In collaboration with Nannacay, vibrant, handmade bags blend runway beading with Nannacay’s mission: Creative Hands Transforming Lives. Additionally, PatBO teams up with Schutz US to create custom-made shoes featuring fabric from the collection’s designs. Explore these unique offerings at PatBO’s Soho store or shop online.
MORE ABOUT PATBO:
PatBO is a Brazilian brand that captures the vibrant energy of South America through its artfully hand-embroidered RTW and Swim Collection. Born and raised in Brazil, Founder & Creative Director Patricia Bonaldi began her career by opening a multi-brand store in her hometown of Uberlândia. Soon after, she began receiving requests to design her own collection, launching her eponymous label. Today, the richly detailed embroidery and bold prints that are a hallmark of the label is a perfect example of the brand’s commitment to both technical expertise and boundless imagination. Rather than outsourcing this, Patricia Bonaldi established a school in her hometown for the express purpose of teaching local women this special craft. Today, hundreds of local men and women are empowered by the skills they have acquired. PatBO is now sold in 20 different countries and available in more than 150 stores globally including Net-a-Porter, Bergdorf Goodman, FWRD, Saks Fifth Avenue and Moda Operandi.
