Rare Impact Fund Benefit Night
During the fourth annual Rare Impact Fund Benefit: A Night of Radiance & Reflection, Pacsun gave an exclusive first look at the Rare DNM Edit. The gathering was held on October 14th at the Hollywood Palladium in LA. With the shared mission of raising $100 million the night brought leaders within entertainment, fashion, business and philanthropy together. Emceed by Sean Hayes, the Benefit featured special performances from Leon Bridges and Bella Kay. Following remarks by Selena Gomez, the Fund President Elyse Cohen, live and silent auctions helped raise over $2 million to support the Fund.
Pacsun, an official sponsor of the Benefit for the third consecutive year, showcased pieces and had a dedicated gifting experience. Attendees explored and selected their favorite pieces from the collection. The moment created a full circle memory, since the original Rare DNM Edit was launched at the 2024 Benefit.
The Partnership Impact
The partnership is relevant to Pacsun’s target market: the youth. According to Pacsun’s 2026 Youth Report, 59% of young people from ages 11-24 stated that being mentally healthy is a life goal they hope to achieve by age 35. These findings express how mental health and wellness is a leading concern among younger generations. “Our Youth Report reinforces something we’ve heard directly from young people for years: mental wellbeing is a priority, and they want the brands they support to stand for something meaningful,” said Brieane Olson, CEO of Pacsun.
Cohen stated, “That’s what has made our partnership with Pacsun so meaningful. Through Rare DNM Edit and their continued support of the Rare Impact Fund, we’re finding new ways to reach young people while helping expand access to the mental health resources and support they deserve. We’re grateful to Pacsun for continuing to invest in this work and for showing what’s possible when brands use their platforms to support young people in meaningful ways.” It’s impactful when brands are able to support the issues their customers care for, showcasing a purpose beyond the clothing.
The collection is available for purchase in select Pacsun stores and online. Pacsun will donate 10% of sales from each Rare DNM Edit style purchased to the Rare Impact Fund. Leaving up to a maximum donation of $300,000.
