JED LAUNCHES THE DOUBLE TROUBLE COLLECTION

The tees are named “Double-Trouble” as they feature one print on the front of the tee and a surprising, contrasting print on the back. They are bold, witty, head-turning styles meant to message the brand’s commitment to bring a little joy to our lives. Each print is an abstraction of JED’s observations found in nature, on our travels or from various ethnographic sources.

Graphic interpretations of sinuous brain coral, mesmerizing vortexes and minimalist reptile skins are contrasted with Middle Eastern embroidery patterns, Expressionist brushstrokes and Mexican pottery motifs.

Each tee is branded on the back with a discreet, hand drawn JED logo embedded within the print itself. The “Double-Trouble” tee has a body conscious fit and gently skims the torso with a fitted armhole, open neckline and short sleeve. Each tee is screen-printed in Peru of pure cotton.

They have been lucky enough to shoot their tees on the inimitable Ruby Aldridge – one of their favorite muses who truly embodies the JED spirit with her character, talent, beauty, individualism, humour and personal style.
