Grace Ling Spring 2025 Collection “Neanderthal”
Grace Ling released her Spring 2025 collection which references a primitive time and draws upon the intimate relationship between humans and objects. Emerging onto the runway in a mixture of ready-to-wear and couture looks, the Grace Ling earthly spawns are overtaken by the elements: scorched, torn, burnt, windswept. A modern romance with a dark twist. The collection is equally a dedication to the signature details, tailoring and knitwear that has built the brand’s image, as is it a continued study of the imaginative possibilities of our surrealist metal sculptures.
Debuting on the runway is the Grace Ling x Humane HANDAXE BAG designed in collaboration with Humane. Inspired by the first tools recognizably crafted by our stone-age human ancestors, it’s a blend of primal simplicity with modern design. The couture and ready-to-wear collection provides the perfect backdrop to showcase the versatility of Ai Pin’s form, which has been designed to weave into everyday life. The HANDAXE BAG and Ai Pin represent the evolution of tools and the merging of technology and personal expression.
They partnered with fellow woman-owned brand Gotham to add the element of fire to the runway with a scorched joint bouquet. They helped to create a moment that brought a kiss of nature to the collection, which we treated our front row guests to as well. It-girl and runway model this season Meredith Duxbury carried the BUTT BAG stashed with pre-rolls to show there’s always a new use for our best-selling accessory.
