Frank Ocean Launches His Very Own Luxury Brand “Homer”

The American singer, Frank Ocean has been recently exploring other business endeavors outside of music. With that said, on Aug. 6, 2021, Ocean announced the launch of his own luxury brand, Homer. With his brand’s launch, a special debut collection has been released to celebrate the launch of Homer.
Homer’s first collection will consist of printed silk scarfs and high-quality jewelry made out of 18-karat gold, recycled sterling silver, hand-painted enamel, and American lab-grown diamonds. All of the pieces in this collection were carefully crafted. In a press release, the inspiration for these pieces were Ocean’s “childhood obsessions” and “heritage as a fantasy.”
The entire collection is found inside an online catalog featured on the official Homer website. There are a whole variety of colors and designs that are eye-catching. There are many different prices depending on which items you will be purchasing. For example, the Boy Toy Cross Pendant comes in five different colors (Acid Yellow, Soba, Coca Cola, Retba Pink, and Bubble Blue) that have a starting price of $1385.
In the catalog, we also see another piece which is the Jester On Dice Pendant that comes in the colors: Chet Blue, Coca Cola, Alpine, Clover, Soba, and Alpine with mixed stones. This piece starts at the price of $825 and goes up to $1020. Several products featured in the catalog note that Homer’s pieces are carefully handcrafted.
It has also been noted that Homer’s catalog cover and photography were all done by the singer himself. However, Ocean did have the help of Tyrone Lebon (who frequently collaborates with Frank Ocean) for his catalog images. Each of the images featured in the catalog is very detailed and zoomed in to give customers a better look at these pieces.
This entire collection is available exclusively online through the Homer website. However, customers can also have the chance to purchase at the official in-person Homer store. The Homer store is located at 70-74 Bowery, New York City, 10013. In order to visit the store, customers will have to make an appointment on the website. On Aug. 9, 2021, the Homer store will be officially opened for business.
