Fix and Fax Gives Menswear A Go! NYFW 2020
With the future in mind, Fix and Fax took us back in time to the real concept that is fashion; creativity. Striking the eye with color, texture, and shine! Jumpsuits that provoked the natural theme with a metallic disco feel. The jumpsuit, lined with photos of literal modes of transportation as well as a colorful fur neckline, a definite showstopper. A following of faux fur linings saturated the male lion beauty that is being depicted. Sweaters that broke the mold with sheer linings to contort the shape of models. The hats were an interesting touch, taking different forms of aviator hats with different vibrant fabrics. Air, space, and the overall natural concept of the show could not have been represented better. A show that continuously carried its own weight. Jewelry was quite the statement, large pendulum metallic necklaces some more dramatic than others. Her crafty background made for a beautiful collage of symbolistic garments. Air met streetwear in Katya Levonovich’s spring NYFW line. Funky, fresh, and forward this is Fix and Fax.
