Disney Style Presents: Fashion and Frozen
Disney announced their latest project, Disney Design Challenge Frozen Fashion, back in June, hosted by blogger Candy Washington based on fashion and the Disney film Frozen. A four-part YouTube web series with a Project Runway style design challenge competition featuring a group of six young student designers from Otis College of Art and Design in LA, California. The show followed each student’s journey as they redefine Frozen through their eyes and created their own unique fashion line inspired by the movie. The top 3 winners were selected to receive a prize that is life-changing; a scholarship for their final year of fashion school and their collection brought to life and sold online via Nineteenth Amendment. Disney Design Challenge Frozen Fashion premiered on Disney Style, June 16th and the winners were announced on July 14th.
