D&G, also known as Dolce & Gabbana, recently collaborated with Skims. The Italian fashion house created a collection with the American shape wear brand. Additionally, this is the first time the two labels collaborated together.

D&G, founded in 1985, has a long history of impacting luxury Italian fashion. Additionally, the house’s apparel, accessories, and scented products exude wealth. Audiences can tell when they’re watching a Dolce & Gabbana show. For instance, the runway shows are often bold and expressive. Where there is D&G, there is luxury.

In 2019, Kim Kardashian, Jens Grede, and Emma Grede founded Skims. The brand is popular for its clothing and shape wear. In addition to the brand’s pieces, Kim Kardashian boosts the brand’s social media status, With her fame, any venture of hers, like Skims, is guaranteed to gain media traction.

The Campaign and Collection

The collection will drop online and in select Dolce & Gabbana stores on November 19th.

The campaign shows Kim Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian. In embracing the luxury house’s roots, the scenes show an Italian dreamscape. Also, the recording of the film produced clips that appear vintage.

Everything about the set and the pieces is luxurious. The advertising campaign paints the shape wear company in a light that is similar to Dolce & Gabbana’s. Ultimately, this collaboration combined the stretchy shape wear and the art and passion of D&G.

So far in the campaign, the pieces advertised are women’s. In the videos, there are distinctive bras, dresses, and tops. In addition, the iconic leopard print appears on many of the pieces. For decades, Dolce & Gabbana have created designs with the animal print designed on them.

This print represents those who are bold and stand out. Quiet luxury has no place in this collection. In addition to the animal print, black lace pieces appear in the advertisements.
