On February 10, 2025, Coach made a bold statement at New York Fashion Week with the debut of its Fall 2025 collection. Held at the iconic Park Avenue Armory on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, the runway show celebrated the brand’s rich heritage while reimagining American classics for a new generation. Under the creative direction of Stuart Vevers, the collection emphasized sustainability, self-expression, and the power of community, solidifying Coach’s position as a leader in modern luxury.

A Vision Rooted in Heritage and Innovation

Creative Director Stuart Vevers described the collection as a reflection of Coach’s distinct identity. “My vision for Fall was to ground the collection in all the things that make Coach so distinct as a fashion house: our heritage materials and palette, our commitment to repurposing and ‘re-loving’ secondhand garments through craft, and our belief in the power of community and self-expression,” Vevers explained.

The collection showcased a cohesive blend of materials, silhouettes, and styling, drawing inspiration from found and love-worn pieces that reflect the personality of the wearer. Oversized pants in denim, moleskin, and suiting fabrics were paired with shrunken T-shirts, sweatshirts, knits, and jackets, creating a balanced yet relaxed aesthetic. The color palette stayed true to Coach’s classic tones of rich tan and faded black, with pops of novelty from leopard prints, metallic knits, and beading.

Outerwear and Tailoring with a Twist

Outerwear took center stage with cropped and shrunken bomber jackets, many crafted from repurposed garments, alongside floor-length trench coats in shearling and leather. Duffle coats, peacoats, and a standout faux leopard fur coat added depth to the collection. Tailoring elements, such as blazers and vests with cropped and skewed proportions, were paired with argyle and Lurex knits for a modern twist.

The collection also paid homage to the relaxed day dresses of the 1920s, featuring shift, tank, and drop-pleated styles. Vintage negligees and beaded gowns were reimagined into contemporary dresses, blending nostalgia with modern elegance. Cozy, comforting elements like washed T-shirts, sweatshirts, and fuzzy footwear reminiscent of children’s slippers added a touch of warmth and familiarity.

Sustainable Denim and Iconic Leathergoods

Sustainability remained a key focus, with all jeans in the collection crafted from repurposed secondhand denim. This commitment to reimagining American heritage materials through a sustainable lens was a recurring theme throughout the show.

In leathergoods, the Fall 2025 collection introduced the Twin Pocket Bag, inspired by a Coach archive piece from 1968. The Brooklyn and Empire bags returned in playful, compact proportions, rendered in vegetable-tanned leather and shearling. The Bleecker Bucket Bag added a pop of color, while the Times Square Tabby, crafted from beaded vintage satin bags, brought a touch of glamour.

Footwear and Accessories for Self-Expression

The Soho Sneaker, now in its second season, was a standout on the runway. Available in finishes like Loved Leather, silver suede, and leopard print, the sneaker was designed as a canvas for self-expression, with scuffs and customizations reflecting the wearer’s personality. Charms such as pom-poms, jeweled bows, and shearling stuffed animals added a playful touch.

Footwear also included stuffed animal slippers, block-heeled loafers, buckle boots, and kitten-heeled sandals. Accessories like toolbox-inspired jewelry, personalized nameplate necklaces, and brightly colored statement sunglasses completed the looks.

An Immersive Runway Experience

The Park Avenue Armory’s historic Drill Hall was transformed into an intimate, dreamlike space with atmospheric lighting and printed fabric surrounds. Brooklyn-based indie pop band Nation of Language provided a live soundtrack, performing their original song “A Word & a Wave” as models circulated through the space.
