Aliétte Fall/Winter 2020 ready-to-wear collection is dedicated to the ever changing role of the modern woman. The collection draws its inspiration from the 70’s, a time of opulence and fun. “Fashion is so serious,” Rembert states, “I want to make women happy.” Rembert reintroduces Aliétte brand staples such as laser cut blazers and skirts, and new up-cycled fur coats along with mirrored metallics
Much of the collection was designed with personal style in mind. “This collection merges music and fashion,” Rembert notes, “back to the days of musicians having their own fashion identity and not aspiring to norms and trends.” In the collection you will see nods to Diana Ross, Cher and Bianca Jagger, and their always glamorous, non conforming personal styles. Interpretations include a 70’s inspired rust colored jumpsuit and bold colored hues of mango and teal throughout the collection. Accessories include hand embroidered glass beaded belts and footwear provided by Giuseppe Zanotti.
Special guests included Issa Rae, Dapper Dan, Misa Hylton, Maria Borges, Lameka Fox, David Dobrik, Fabolous, and Alyson Stoner.
