A 2024 Nidra Devi Collection by Keren Craig
New York Fashion Week has officially begun and the event is off to a fabulous start with a new collection by Keren Craig’s Nidra Devi. On February 8, Craig debuted her Fall and Winter 2024 collection, ‘Twighlight Reveals Each Dream’, at NeueHouse Madison Square.
The presentation of her newest pieces was attended by many eager guests, who were welcomed to a dinner, following the show.
The Swiss-born, British fashion designer, combines all of fashion’s best techniques and styles in Nidra Devi. The models were perfectly dressed to compliment the collection, with the help of Surya and the Moon jewels, and shoes by Italian shoe designer, Francesca Bellavita.
Whether it’s beautiful florals or the Oxblood sequins, every piece has a different perspective and story to tell. The designs highlight the undeniable uniqueness of the individual identity, which is often expressed through clothing. According to a press release, the collection pays tribute to Indian craftsmanship, honoring the fine, hand-crafted approach taken to accentuate each detail.
Craig’s new collection lends itself to the glitz and glamour of NYFW perfectly. It incorporates stunning fall and winter shades, from burgundy to gold, to classic black looks. With Craig’s mystical element, the pieces paint a seamless illusion of beauty from dusk to dawn.
The Nidra Devi business, established in 2022, was named after the Hindu goddess of sleep. According to a press release, the designer was inspired by the whimsical and ethereal in creating Nidra Devi, with glamorous evening wear and embellished loungewear that empowers all women.
Since its creation, Nidra Devi has never failed to wow the fashion community and has succeeded in maintaining that reputation at this year’s NYFW.
