Not everyone is a foodie or maybe a good enough of us are.  But if you were to take an amazing photo of an ill-looking entree, people would look at the food as one of the most delicious looking plates. That is just it. Photo lens brings out the beauty in everything. On a general note, our visual perspective in reality and through a lens is on a completely different plane. But let’s focus more on food and since I am a foodie, it’s best to say, I enjoy my share of look at amazing food porn. Not to mention the ones you see during brunches and it seems to be the creme de la creme of instagrammable food pictures.

Why is brunch so popular?

I don’t think it is just the food but the unique atmosphere, sipping on mimosas and catching up with friends. But the added “thing” that makes brunch photos so popular is the relentless presentation and that is what makes us all flock to our phones. It looks too good to not take the photo. “Wait! Don’t touch or eat anything yet! I wanna get a picture!”. Yea, I think most of us are guilty of this but for one I am not because I love food and photography so I have no shame.
