Pamella Roland: Moroccan NYFW

Pamella Roland presented her Spring/Summer 2024 collection at New York Fashion Week on Tuesday, September 12th, 2023 at Spring Studios. The collection was inspired by Roland’s recent trip to Morocco, and featured a vibrant palette of colors and intricate patterns inspired by the country’s rich culture.
“I was so inspired by the beauty and culture of Morocco,” said Roland. “The geometric patterns of the Moorish architecture, the vibrant colors of the souks, and the rich textiles of the region all come together to make an elegant but powerful visual.”
The collection featured a variety of looks, from flowing gowns to sharply tailored suits. Standouts included a mirrored tile cut plexiglass gown, a graphic silk and lurex jacquard ballgown, and a mock-neck, champagne to amethyst ombre tulle ballgown.
The collection was finished with statement jewelry from Chopard and dramatic makeup by Rick DiCecca.
In addition to the runway show, Roland also announced that she would be making a donation to relief and rebuilding efforts in Morocco following the recent natural disasters.
“Our hearts and prayers go out to the beautiful people of Morocco,” said Roland. “We hope that this donation will help to make a difference.”
