The Children’s Place Partners With Jonas Brothers For Best School Day Ever Contest
New Jersey-born pop band, the Jonas Brothers performed for The Children’s Place Best School Day Ever Contest to encourage voting in the competition, where one U.S. school will be gifted a 100K grant to go towards school improvements.
The band, composed of Nick, Kevin and Joe Jonas, joined The Children’s Place Brand President Maegan Markee to announce the top 10 finalists for the contest and encourage attendees and the public to vote for their favorite school.
The Children’s Place is the largest children’s specialty retailer in North America, the Boys & Girls Clubs of America and the Jonas Brothers have partnered to give back to communities in need for the back-to-school season, with kid-friendly activities and monetary resources to families.
The Best School Day Ever Contest encourages families with children in K-8 enrolled in non-tuition-based schools to nominate their children’s school for a chance to win $100,000 to go towards school improvements. Nominators enter by submitting a written explanation of how the money will be used to improve the school’s conditions for the students who attend. Thousands of applications were received, but only ten finalists remain — only one will walk away with the grand prize.
