YUNG KAYO REVEALS FIRST SINGLE “150”
Yung Kayo releases new track “150” via 300 Entertainment. His return follows his debut project DFTK which released earlier this year, it captures the ever-evolving sound of Yung Kayo. With tracks that blend his signature rap-yelling sound with hyperpop beats, Kayo showcases the versatility of his vocal strength and songwriting skills throughout the track.

Washington D.C native Kai Green, better known as Yung Kayo, is a 18-year-old rapper taking
the scene by storm with his up-tempo futuristic rap style that melds his fluid flows and
undeniable energy. While Kayo refuses to be boxed in sonically, he credits his mentor Young
Thug as an undeniable musical inspiration.
Growing up, Yung Kayo was inspired by the DMV music scene, more specifically by the Go-Go music the district is renowned for. Surrounded by music at an early age, Kayo started rapping at the age of ten but began to take music more seriously as he entered his later teen years. He originally got his start on Soundcloud, but it was his song “Glitch” in 2019 that would catch the attention of Young Thug leading him to ink a deal with Thug’s Young Stoner Life Records via 300 Entertainment. Kayo’s energy and delivery would ultimately lead him to being one of the youngest members and newest voices inducted into the Young Stoner Life family. As a follow-up Kayo would then go on to release his first official project, a 3-track effort titled Sweet16 in 2019. The EP, named after the stage of his life and a slight nod to MTV’s “My Super Sweet 16”, would be Kayo’s official introduction to the world.
