‘Heartbreak Vinyl’ – The Song of Summer
‘Heartbreak Vinyl’ is Pecnik’s newest release and it’s safe to say she’s excited about it. For good reason, we might add. The tune is written by Pecnik herself and produced alongside Chase Fouraker. The country-heartbreak tune explores the emotional difficulty of getting over someone you once loved. The chorus, “Heartbreak Vinyl play the song that makes me cry. Nothing like a sad song that gets me every time” tells a familiar story. With no one to love and a sad song on repeat, Pecnik shows how difficult a heartbreak can be.
However, she somehow wraps those themes in a catchy beat. And it just works. In layman’s terms, the song makes you want to get up and move, maybe even dance around your kitchen. It’s fun, upbeat and emotionally carefree. The track encompasses the ‘heartbreak country music scene’ to a tee. It also happens to be the song she’s most proud of.
