WhoMadeWho Thinks ‘We Could Be Lost’

Danish electronic trio WhoMadeWho today release their new single ‘We Could Be Lost’ out now via Maison Arts. Capturing the yearning for simplicity and spontaneity, the track is a tender reflection on disconnection and the possibilities of the unknown.

‘We Could Be Lost’ turns melancholy into dancefloor release, moving between indie pop and deep house with a pulse that keeps the tension alive. Delicate synthwork floats over warm, rolling house rhythms, giving the track a sense of weightlessness without losing its drive. Transportive lyricism draws listeners further into its heady atmosphere, where introspection gives way to euphoria and the invitation to get lost becomes hard to resist.

“‘We Could Be Lost’ is about the beauty of not knowing. We live in a world where everything can be mapped, searched and explained instantly, where there’s always an answer. Sometimes we want the opposite: to get lost on purpose and stay there for a while. On a more personal level, the song is also about losing your connection to someone you love.” – WhoMadeWho

WhoMadeWho have become one of the most influential underground bands of their generation, celebrated for their emotional intensity, evocative melodies, and fearless songwriting. Comprising Tomas Høffding, Tomas Barfod, and Jeppe Kjellberg, the Danish trio blend rock, jazz, and electronic music across eight albums and a catalog of singles and remixes for labels including Kompakt, Innervisions, Rose Avenue, and Life & Death. On stage, they channel that artistry through two distinct formats: immersive live performances, like in their renowned Cercle set, and hybrid DJ sets that bring their musicianship into the booth.

Their creative world extends to The Moment, their global festival and record label brand. This year, The Moment took over Brooklyn Storehouse for its NYC showcase and sold 20,000 tickets for its recent two-day Lisbon edition, featuring two stages curated by WhoMadeWho. This fall, the series heads to Amsterdam for a showcase during ADE and London for two nights at KOKO.
