Tre Loaded Releases Video For “Do For Me”
Rhyming with a suavity that belies his 22 years of age, Tre Loaded is aiming to be the South’s next big thing. The Memphis rapper shows off his charm in “Do For Me,” the latest video from his recent project, LOADED (Deluxe). Produced by Say Breezy, “Do For Me” is a spritely and soulful rap love song, riding buoyant keys and sweeping strings that evoke the summery bounce of songs like Big Pun’s “Still Not A Player.” Tre Loaded rides the beat with power and finesse, elegantly explaining how he became that dude: “I used to be broke, I ain’t gon’ lie but sh*t it’s been a while,” he smirks. In the video, Tre takes a trip to the tropics of Hawaii, flashing his wrist on a boat and bringing his bankroll into the rainforest.
An expansion of of his 2024 debut mixtape. LOADED (Deluxe) adds 7 songs to the project, most notably the “Another Whip (Remix)” featuring BigXThaPlug, as well as recent singles like the slinky “Stuck In The Dirt,” the marching band-enhanced head-nodder “Steppin’,” and the blues-y “GloRilla.” Continuing Tre’s run as one of Memphis’s most-promising young artists, LOADED (Deluxe) arrives via Loaded 4 Life/PULSE Records/Connect.
Tre Loaded exploded into the consciousness last year with viral hits and important co-signs, leading to over 50 million catalog streams in 2024 alone. The new single follows in the footsteps of “Another Whip,” a viral hit that generated over 7 million streams across platforms. In the fall, Tre added a verse from his compadre BigXThaPlug to the remix, after joining X on his fast-selling “Take Care Tour” as the direct support. Trending on TikTok and charting on Shazam, “Another Whip” provided a breakout moment for Tre Loaded, and was a highlight from his LOADED mixtape home to singles like “Push Start,” and a guest appearance from That Mexican OT on the trumpet-laden single “The Ticket,” covered by outlets like Stereogum and HipHopDX.
