Trae Tha Truth, Kalan.FRFR & Mozzy “Gangsta Party With God”
Following his recent efforts to provide storm relief to victims in Northwestern Indiana, Houston’s neighborhood hero Trae Tha Truth returns to music with “Gangsta Party With God,” a powerful new collaboration featuring Los Angeles artist Kalan.FrFr and Sacramento rapper Mozzy.
The visual arrives as the first single from Trae Tha Truth and Mozzy’s forthcoming collaborative album, due September 25, and marks Trae’s first album release since 2025’s Angel.
“Gangsta Party With God” centers on faith, authenticity and perseverance, exploring what it means to keep God close while navigating adversity, success and the pressures that come with life in the streets.
Kalan.FrFr opens the track with melodic vocals that encourage listeners to stay in their own lane and remain focused on their purpose rather than allowing those who attempted to block their progress to dictate their future.
Trae Tha Truth delivers a direct, emphatic verse rooted in his commitment to the next generation. Reflecting on his own journey, he speaks to young people about breaking cycles and finding a way beyond the limitations of the streets, while recognizing the blessing of being able to turn his music and experiences into a living.
Mozzy brings his signature perspective to the collaboration, questioning authenticity in a culture often driven by appearances and material possessions. His verse challenges listeners to look beyond what people flaunt and remain true to who they are.
Directed and edited by Ronnie Lewis, the Los Angeles produced visual places all three artists against the backdrop of dark Los Angeles alleyways and city streets, reinforcing the song’s themes of survival, faith and staying true to yourself.
“Gangsta Party With God” sets the tone for what’s to come from Trae Tha Truth and Mozzy’s upcoming album, blending street perspective with a message of faith, resilience and authenticity.
