The Jungle Giants Tag Odd Mob for “Trippin Up”

Today, Australian indie royalty The Jungle Giants team up with young gun on the block Odd Mob for a remix of their most recent single “Trippin Up.” With thumping beats and spacey instrumentals that build from a mellow groove to a hazy dance break, paired with Sam Hale’s striking vocals, the track comes fully revamped as a new entity. Odd Mob has brought his deft touch to the drum and bass banger from The Jungle Giants while retaining their classic effervescent sound.

With the original version already reaching #1 most played at Triple J radio in Australia, as well as winning the praise of NME, Indie Shuffle, Acid Stag, and many others across the globe, the remix is off to a strong start, with Odd Mob giving lucky audience members a preview ahead of release during his recent Coachella set.

On this collaboration, Odd Mob said, “It was an honor to remix my all-time favorite band. This remix is high energy with hints of the original dreaminess of the original track.”

Last week, The Jungle Giants announced a run of headline North American tour dates. During this tour, the band will join the lineup of San Francisco’s infamous Outside Lands alongside Kendrick Lamar, Lana Del Rey and The 1975, and take the stages of San Diego’s BLEACHED Festival (an event delivered by the CRSSD Festival team). The newly announced dates also boast major shows Los Angeles, Phoenix, Denver and Vancouver, with New York’s show already at 75% sold out. See all tour dates here.

Following the release of their 2021 #1 ARIA Chart-topping fourth album Love Signs, the band has cemented their place as a dominant force down under and is now seeing their reach mushroom out across the globe. Already this year, they have brought their free-spirited antics to the stages of Okeechobee Festival and M3F in the US, Laneway Festival in their home country, and an electrifying run of shows throughout Mexico. Over the coming months, The Jungle Giants will have no shortage of exciting and mysterious trails to follow towards the release of their fifth album.
