That Mexican OT is A “Cowboy in New York”

That Mexican OT stalks the streets of New York City in the music video for “Cowboy In New York.” Built on a dusty piano loop that would’ve seamlessly fit on the grimy East Coast classic of your choice, owboy In New York” is a lyrical showcase fro the 24-year-old artist, as he applies his fast-talking southern drawl as he goes into graphic detail about his womanizing and party-positive ways: “Y’all think that dude y’all daddy? B*tch, you my son/I had your mama eatin’ my llama for breakfast and lunch/I hung your brother with a shoelace/No face, no case, and now we back to square one.”  In the video, OT takes a walk down Fifth Avenue, stopping in a corner store as his lyrics adorn the screen.

Released in July, OT’s album  Lonestar Luchador, acclaimed by Pitchfork (7.5) is home to the single “Johnny Dang” ft. Drodi & Paul Wall. which has generated over 90 million streams on YouTube and Spotify alone, plus additional highlights like the bi-lingual banger “Barrio” ft.
