That Mexican OT Gets Throwed On “OMG” Video

A natural charmer with a million dollar smile and a bankroll to match, That Mexican OT can’t help if he breaks a few hearts as he climbs the charts. In the new video for his chopped-n-screwed lothario anthem, “OMG,” OT gives “family affair” a whole new meaning when a late night link-up with a lady friend takes an unexpected turn, as OT comes to a realization: “I know that her lil’ sister’s in love with me/And she wants her a peek, yeah.” With a slick smile, OT assesses the situation through purple syrup-tinted lenses, and soon finds himself in a hot tub flanked by the bikini-clad baddies, with more than enough of himself to go around.

Released in July, OT’s album Lonestar Luchador, acclaimed by Pitchfork (7.5) is home to the single “Johnny Dang” ft. Drodi & Paul Wall. which has generated over 100 million streams on YouTube and Spotify alone, plus additional highlights like the bi-lingual banger “Barrio” ft. Lefty SM, the melodic and guitar-inflected revenge anthem Breannan,” and the villainesque stomper Cowboy Killer.” Lonestar Luchador made an immediate impact, reaching #1 on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart and peaking at #59 on the Billboard 200. Last month, OT embraced a Texas rap tradition when he shared Lonestar Luchador (Chopped Not Slopped), remixed by DJ Lil Steve of the legendary collective The Chopstars. Lonestar Luchador capitalizes on the momentum generated by “Johnny Dang,” That Mexican OT’s breakout hit, released earlier this summer. First gathering heat as a snippet on TikTok and Instagram, the Paul Wall and Drodi-featuring song spent weeks in the top ten of Spotify’s U.S. Viral 50 chart, and spent 12 weekson theBillboard Hot 100 chart, peaking at #65#14 on the Hot Rap Songs chart and #19 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs. Recently, “Johnny Dang” became That Mexican OT’s first song to earn GOLD status from the RIAA.

This fall, That Mexican OT completed the Lonestar Luchador Tour,” the Bay City native’s first-ever headlining tour, selling out dozens of dates across the country. OT recently announced additional dates throughout the Southwest this fall and winter: tickets for upcoming That Mexican OT concerts are available at ThatMexicanOT.net
