Terror Reid is ‘In My Head’
Following the August release of “SABERTOOTH”, TERROR REID returns today, September 25, with “IN MY HEAD”, the second release from his upcoming full-length project. Built around a moody atmosphere and his signature laid-back West Coast groove, the track finds REID turning inward, delivering reflective verses over a production that never loses its bounce.
Anchored by a melodic, sung chorus, “IN MY HEAD” explores the feeling of being unable to escape your own thoughts. Beneath the confidence and success, REID finds himself caught in an internal cycle – stuck in his head, reflecting on the darker side of what comes with everything he’s built. The subject matter is introspective and at times bleak, but the track still moves with the effortless rhythm and West Coast swing that runs through REID’s music.
TERROR REID is the evil genius you’ve never heard of. The self-produced, enigmatic, Bay Area-born rap villain of his time, REID has spent years building a world where Death Cult imagery, ’90s hip-hop grit and freezing-cold flows collide. Since launching the project in 2017 with the self-produced single “Uppercuts”, REID has built a cult following and an unpredictable catalog that refuses to stay in one lane. He has released multiple full-length projects, including two EPs with rapper Pouya, while earning a reputation as one of the most unpredictable live acts in underground rap.
This fall, REID hits stages across North America as he embarks on a major run from October through December as direct support for Yung Gravy’s Joyrider Tour, as well as a special Red Rocks performance with Pouya.
