Steve Aoki, Bia & Destroy Lonely Are “Young”

2x-GRAMMY-nominated artist and producer Steve Aoki teams up with platinum-selling rapper BIA, multi-gold-certified, Opium signee Destroy Lonely, who is one of the defining voices of the current generation of rap, and influential production duo Stargate (whose credits include Rihanna’s “Only Girl in the World,” Katy Perry’s “Firework” and Ne-Yo’s “So Sick”) on the culture-shifting hip-hop crossover single “Young.”

The track bridges Aoki’s high-impact festival sound with the sound of rap right now, marking a bold intersection of worlds. Built around a chantable chorus, “middle fingers to the sun… living life forever young…”,“Young” blends euphoric melodies and raw hip-hop energy with arena-sized hooks, capturing the late-night freedom and unrestrained, free-spirited energy that define a generation’s most memorable moments.

“Young” was first unveiled during Steve Aoki’s 2026 headline set at Ultra Music Festival in Miami, where BIA and Destroy Lonely joined him onstage for a surprise live debut. The performance quickly became one of the defining highlights of the weekend, sparking widespread fan reaction and circulating across social platforms following the show. The official music video, shot in Miami during Ultra weekend, features footage from the explosive live debut, capturing the energy and chaos of the onstage moment.

Steve Aoki shares, “Collaborating with BIA, Destroy Lonely, and Stargate felt like a real collision of worlds in the best way. The song has this fresh, emotional energy to it, but it’s also built for those huge shared moments when everyone connects at once. Debuting ‘Young’ at Ultra Music Festival was one of those standout moments. The energy from the fans during the performance was unmatched, and I know this song is going to go off at festivals worldwide for years to come.”

BIA shares, “Being a part of this record with Steve Aoki and Destroy Lonely was something so special. Can’t wait to see everyone dance to it all summer!”

The release arrives as Aoki celebrates the 30th anniversary of his influential independent label Dim Mak. Founded in 1996 from his college dorm room at UC Santa Barbara and named after his childhood hero Bruce Lee, Dim Mak helped launch groundbreaking artists including The Kills, Bloc Party, and The Gossip, and has since grown into one of electronic music’s most respected global imprints. Aoki is currently on his Dim Mak 30th Anniversary Tour, a North American run marking three decades of boundary-pushing music and culture, with more dates to be announced soon.
