Steve Angello Says It’s “ME,” On New Single
Steve Angello kicks off the new year with “ME,” a gloriously euphoric single with pulsing keys that extends the afterglow of the summer season.
Angello, one of the co-founders of Swedish House Mafia, wrote and produced the track, which was released today via SIZE Records/Astralwerks. “I designed ‘ME’ as an homage to the raw, unfiltered energy of S—A club set,” explains Steve Angello. “It’s that perfect track that doesn’t end the night but stays with you, echoing in your head the next day. I made it hours before the Size XX show in Stockholm and heard the demand from the people so I’ve decided to make it available to the world!”
This single comes at an exciting time as Steve recently announced he will be returning to Brazil in February for a limited run of shows. Steve was most recently in Brazil to play the mainstage at Tomorrowland. This April, Steve will be returning to the desert to play both weekends of Coachella. “ME” comes on the heels of Angello’s acclaimed collaboration with mysterious music duo Wh0, “What You Need,” which was the #3 most played house track of 2023 on 1001 Tracklists “A State of Dance Music 2023 Report.” As SIZE Records, the independent label he founded, celebrates its 20th anniversary Angello has forged a partnership with Astralwerks to distribute all of the label’s new releases, beginning with “What You Need,” and its catalog.
