Skrillex Turns Up With “Thistle”
Skrillex has officially released his latest single, “Thistle,” with Blawan, Randomer, and MC Dricka. The surprise release marks the third single from Skrillex’s current release run, following recent collaborations “Duro” with Young Miko and “Smoke” with ISOxo. Ahead of its official release today, Skrillex shared the track directly with fans on his email list earlier this week.
“Thistle” arrives ahead of the debut of CONTRA, Skrillex’s newly launched event platform in collaboration with Berlin Atonal, taking place May 30th–31st at Kraftwerk Berlin. Curated by Skrillex, the two-day event will feature performances from more than 70 artists across club music, live performance, and visual art, including appearances from collaborators and artists across his current orbit. The release also precedes Skrillex’s return to Primavera Sound Barcelona, where he will perform on the Revolut stage on Friday, June 5th, before curating and hosting the festival’s CUPRA Pulse stage Saturday evening.
