Skilla Baby & 4Batz Are “So Bad”
Today, Detroit rap star Skilla Baby returns with brand new single “So Bad” featuring fellow 2024 XXL Freshman Classmate 4Batz.
The booming tribute to loyal ladies arrives as Skilla Baby celebrates his birthday with a pair of hometown shows creative-directed by artistic powerhouse Teyana Taylor. Expected guests include Tee Grizzley, G Herbo, YTB Fatt, Bfb Da Packman, and more. The first installment goes down tonight at The Fillmore with the second one taking place this Friday. “So Bad” opens on echoing horns, big bass, and cracking drums — carving out a huge space that Skilla Baby fills with ease. He brags on his girl’s style and hustle, and makes clear that he rewards loyalty: “My bankroll blue, she get Tiffany too / She wanna go to Turks, I pay for the whole crew / I pay her rent, I ain’t a trick, that’s just what real ni**as do.” 4Batz picks up the thread: “My b**ch magazine-bad, like she been in Vogue / Celine up on her hip, Chanel up on her toe.” Production comes from YPM Carter, Higherrside, and Dizzy Banko.
2024 continues to be a big year for Skilla Baby.
