Saint Levant Releases ‘Love Letters’

Today, Palestinian-Algerian artist Saint Levant releases his highly anticipated two-part project, Love Letters, via UAM Records. A deeply personal compilation of new music, Love Letters includes standout tracks like “DIVA,” “DALOONA,” “EXILE,” and “WAZIRA,” each serving as a tribute to different facets of his life and identity. Simultaneously triumphant, reflective, hopeful, and heartfelt, Love Letters marries two distinct musical worlds: the A-side channels Arab and North African sounds, while the B-side explores an 80’s funk-infused Western style, with Saint Levant bringing contemporary pop into the mix. Throughout the two discs, he bridges languages and genres, effortlessly weaving together Arabic, English, and French.

Accompanying the project, Saint Levant unveils his new music video, “DIVA.” The visual is a breathtaking tribute to the woman who stole his heart, pairing golden, majestic imagery with an irresistibly catchy track. Shot in Algeria as a homage to Saint Levant’s Algerian heritage, the video revisits his Lover Boy Levant persona. Filmed on 35mm by acclaimed cinematographer André Chemetoff (known for Frank Ocean’s “Nikes” and Lana Del Rey’s “Born to Die”) and directed by Lyna Zerrouki, “DIVA” is a cinematic triumph that celebrates love, elegance, and artistry, marking yet another bold statement from Saint Levant.

Love Letters opens with “DALOONA,” a vibrant resistance anthem celebrating Palestinian resilience, with the video set against the backdrop of a traditional wedding. “WAZIRA” follows a poetic meditation on love and longing, describing his muse as a “minister of love” against a lush, club-ready production. Next, “KALAMANTINA,” marks an exciting collaboration between Saint Levant and Egyptian rapper-producer Marwan Moussa, a trailblazer in Arabic rap known for his fusion of hard-hitting beats and Egyptian street culture. The track effortlessly blends their distinct styles, offering a rhythmic interplay between Levant’s melodic approach and Moussa’s sharp lyricism. Rounding out the compilation tape, “EXILE” takes a more introspective turn, delving into the emotional weight of displacement and identity in the diaspora. Together, these tracks showcase the depth of Love Letters, weaving together themes of heritage, longing, love, and celebration.

Saint Levant continues to redefine boundaries, blending the sounds, styles, and languages of the Arab diaspora into a singular voice that resonates worldwide. He was recently featured on NPR, who described his journey as a reflection of “what it means to create music and represent a Palestinian identity on a global stage.” He also graced DAZED MENA’s inaugural issue, further cementing his status as a cultural icon. Named “Arabic pop’s leading man” by NYLON and honored as GQ France’s 2023 Man of the Year, Saint Levant has garnered acclaim across music and fashion, including becoming Dior’s first-ever Middle East Ambassador. Having performed at CoachellaGov Ball, and Lollapalooza, and been spotlighted by PAPER, Rolling StoneBillboardVariety, and Grammy.com’s 2025 Artists to Watch, Saint Levant merges identity and innovation, bridging antiquity with modernity to create a sound that is both rooted and forward-looking.
