For Spotify Singles, actress and singer Sabrina Carpenter released a cover from Taylor Swift’s 2012 Red album. Along with the release of the song, the artist announced that she was going on tour with Taylor Swift starting in November to continue on Swift’s Eras Tour.
In this cover, Sabrina Carpenter takes the song and completely makes it her own in the best way possible. Even though some would say that it is really hard to top the original version of the song, Carpenter did a fantastic job of letting the original song be itself, and to take the song and change it into the way she would sing it. And it’s really great.
As soon as the single starts, you can immediately tell what the vibe of the song would be. Smooth and soft beats making the perfect redemption of a favorite hit.
Sabrina Carpenter released her latest album last year and then released a deluxe version back in March earlier this year, titled emails i can’t send fwd:. With this being the second album the artist has put out since 2019, we have gotten to see how much she has grown and embraced her sound in the music industry. Along with that, we get to watch her improve and do things we have never seen her do which is exciting to see for a young artist.
With Carpenter going on tour with Taylor Swift, there is no telling where we will see her next. Taking a guess… Things will just keep getting bigger and better for the artist!
