Rowdy Rebel Brings The Heat On “Posture”

Rowdy Rebel has connected with Fetty Luciano and Fivio Foreign to release a hot new single, “Posture,” just in time for the summer. With the release of his first major-label mixtape Rebel vs. Rowdy featuring artists including French Montana, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, and Jadakiss, Rowdy Rebel is coming off of a strong 2022. However, he has been using 2023 to prove that he is not slowing down. He has already released a handful of hits and scored with an LP, Splash Brothers, on which he collaborated with his brother Fetty Luciano.

“Posture” is a new single with a fast-paced, booming drill instrumental produced by Yoz Beatz, one of the leading producers of drill today. On the song, Rowdy Rebel is joined by his brother Fetty Luciano and fellow Brooklyn-based artist Fivio Foreign. The song features tough lyrics talking about their neighborhood (also known as The 90s), their pasts, and the streets today. The catchy chorus sets the record straight for anyone questioning their résumés.

Posture” is accompanied by a music video directed by up-and-coming director Fuegoo and G-Train Productions. The video is an East Flatbush affair with appearances from Rowdy Rebel, Fetty Luciano, Fivio Foreign, and many others in their crew from the area. Its impressive visual effects flash clips of the neighborhood, high-end lifestyle brands, and sturdy dance moves. The video also pays respect to Pop Smoke and Tdott Woo, two of Rowdy Rebel’s friends and collaborators who have lost their lives. While it shows Rowdy Rebel in his zone and evokes the feeling of some of the visuals of earlier in his career, it also shows young kids from the neighborhood running up to him. While Rowdy is certainly achieving star status, he proves that he stays true to his roots no matter what. Fans can continue their excitement for Rowdy Rebel as a clip from a new song is played at the end of the music video.

“Posture” is hard New York drill heat released just in time for the summer. With his new single, Rowdy Rebel continues to prove that he has the talent to become one of Brooklyn’s biggest drill artists today.
