Ro$ama Stays “Dangerous”

Breakout and award-winning East Texas rapper Ro$ama is gearing up for the release of his new studio album, My Forte, arriving September 11, 2026, with his latest single, “Dangerous,” available now via UnitedMasters / 600 Entertainment. The highly anticipated official music video, premieres tomorrow at 1 PM ET. The announcement follows a breakout run for Ro$ama, who has continued to push beyond his Texas roots onto some of hip-hop’s biggest stages. After performing at Rolling Loud Orlando earlier this year and completing his “Orange Tape” Tour, Ro$ama now turns that momentum toward My Forte, marking the next major evolution in his rise. The track, “Dangerous” gives out a chopped & screwed mixed with west coast vibe. Throughout the video Ro$ama shows off his jewelry and why he is “Dangerous”.

The track uses Dallas as both setting and metaphor, exploring the tension between ambition, survival, danger, and opportunity with the wit and confidence that define Ro$ama’s writing. More than a straightforward tribute, “Dangerous” turns the city into a reflection of the world that shaped the artist, giving listeners a glimpse into the perspective and storytelling at the center of his debut era.

The music video, creatively directed and produced by Sabrina Kalimian, was initially teased on Instagram, building anticipation ahead of its premiere. Told through an immersive, first-person perspective, the visual follows Ro$ama as he races through Dallas while being pursued by police, ultimately building toward a dramatic shutdown of the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge. The cinematic visual transforms one of Dallas’ most recognizable landmarks into a larger-than-life expression of the record’s impact, further connecting “Dangerous” to Ro$ama’s Texas roots and identity.

“Dangerous” arrives as the latest preview of My Forte, Ro$ama’s debut studio album and the beginning of his legacy. Rooted in his East Texas upbringing, the album captures an artist coming fully into his own, tracing Ro$ama’s evolution while giving listeners a closer look at the experiences and perspective that shaped him. More than a debut the forthcoming album will be an origin story and statement of intent—inviting listeners deeper into Ro$ama uses the album to introduce himself on his own terms, giving audiences a more personal understanding of the artist behind the music and setting the tone for what comes next.
