Rising Artist Novulent Drops Official Video For “Death Wish”
20-year-old up-and-coming artist Novulent releases the official video for “death wish” ft. whatsaheart from his new EP BEFORE EVOLUTION. Watch the official video for “death wish,” which was directed and produced by Metro Blu, who helmed Lil Peep and Lil Tracy’s video for “Witchblades.
Novulent’s gift for storytelling shines on “death wish.” On the first verse, he spins a tale of a terrifying attraction. New Zealand-based artist whatsaheart counters with a siren’s song on the second verse, drawing him in deeper and deeper.
After sold-out headline shows in such cities as Chicago and Los Angeles, Novulent will wrap up The Evolution Tour in New York City on February 1 at Mercury Lounge. Tickets are available HERE. The Missing Peace and Olive Vox are supporting him on the tour, which marks his first headline run. He made his live debut in Texas last year, opening for Violent Vira.
While he initially planned to become a tattoo artist, Novulent became obsessed with creating music after seeing how everyday people were experimenting with sounds and posting their work on platforms like SoundCloud. At 17, he began creating songs in Bandlab, fusing elements of hard rock, shoegaze and Midwest emo into a sound all his own.
If you are located in the NYC area, he will be performing at the Mercury Lounge. This is honestly a concert you cannot miss. Also, check out the tracklist for his EP below.
