Potatohead People Unveil 3rd Single, “Paradise”

Today, Nick Wisdom & AstroLogical of Potatohead People release the third single, “Paradise” from their upcoming album, Eat Your Heart Out, out May 10 on Bastard Jazz Recordings.

“Paradise” is the third and final single from the upcoming Potatohead People album “Eat Your Heart Out” and features Vancouver’s latest steamy export and recent Warner signing, Diamond Café who delivers a stunning vocal performance on this early 80s influenced slice of digital sex funk that comes in somewhere between Sade, El Debarge and Prefab Sprout. Late night, low light bedroom dancefloor vibes is the name of the game here. “Eat Your Heart Out” hits everywhere on May 10th.

Potatohead People (Nick Wisdom & AstroLogical) are a Canadian hip-hop/electronic producer duo from Vancouver, BC. In 2008, they began working together in the hip-hop collective Elekwent Folk; soon after the two producers formed Potatohead People, and began to focus on creating forward thinking instrumental music.
 
Over the span of their career the duo have released three full length albums and worked with such artists as De La Soul, Redman, Phife Dawg, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Illa J, T3 (Slum Village), Kaytranada &; more. They perform live with a 10-piece band, fusing elements of jazz, funk and R&B with a hip-hop foundation. Playing various gigs over the past few years, their sets are known to pack a punch with top-shelf musicianship, neck-snapping grooves and dance floor sensibilities.
